In the winter time the hight of the water is lowered not only to produce electricity but also to manage the amount of water coming in this time of the year. Some time this allow to go by foot visiting the island...

Here my remark about the angle: It is interesting that the main subject lies in the middle, usually I prefer to follow the 1/3 rule but in this case, this composition seems better to me... some times the rules must be forgotten...
